After reading the first page I was able to narrow my archetype down to 2 different ones. Either the business traveler or the home user would best fit my needs. First off I guess it be best to say exactly what my dream job would be. I’m going to school to be a history teacher/ football coach, so I will need a laptop that can play videos, have a lot of storage space, and one very easy to move around. On the second page I narrowed the categories down to two, either the thin-and-light or the midsize. The thin-and light is ideal for moving from place to place, but the midsize has internal DVD burning capabilities which will allow students to make videos and then make copies for keep sake. I feel like after reading page three that a Core 2 Quad best fits my need, because it is ideal for running multiple apps so I can have different sites on a certain subject pulled up and can switch back and forth from them. Pages four through six just mentioned the different extras that the laptop could come with. I personally would like an optical drive, mouse, and an external hardrive. Looking on eBay I found a midsize HP laptop for only 349.99. I chose an HP because the laptop I have right now is an HP and it has served me very well through my college experience, and I’ve always went by the saying “if it aint broke don’t fix it.” I also would purchase an external hardrive from Seagate, which usually runs anywhere between 50- 200 dollars.
